Space Resources Laboratory is a space subsystem provider with focus on the small satellite industry. Our products include CubeSat platforms, CubeSat deployers, Micro-propulsion systems etc. Our aim is to exploit the small satellite industry and make space more accessible to everyone.
Project Description
We are looking for a propulsion engineer to work on our propulsion systems project on a full-time basis for a minimum period of 12 months. This project deals with the design and development of a cold gas propulsion system for nanosatellites in the Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
Responsibilities

Perform hand calculation for the propulsion systems design

Design and model propulsion systems using CAD software (Ideally Siemens NX)

Perform flow analysis and CFD

Prepare technical documentations and presentations
Essential Skills/Qualifications

Bachelor’s in a relevant field of engineering such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics etc.

Excellent communication skills

Good understanding of propulsion systems

Proficiency in CFD (Ideally using FORTRAN, MATLAB, ANSYS (Fluent) or NASTRAN)

Ability to work on short deadlines
Optional Skills
-
Master’s/PhD in a relevant field of engineering such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics etc.

Ability to work with animation design tools such as Cinema4D, 3DSMAX, MAYA or BLENDER (ideal).
