Project Description

We are looking for a propulsion engineer to work on our propulsion systems project on a full-time basis for a minimum period of 12 months. This project deals with the design and development of a cold gas propulsion system for nanosatellites in the Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

Responsibilities

  • Perform hand calculation for the propulsion systems design

  • Design and model propulsion systems using CAD software (Ideally Siemens NX)

  • Perform flow analysis and CFD

  • Prepare technical documentations and presentations

 

Essential Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in a relevant field of engineering such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics etc.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good understanding of propulsion systems

  • Proficiency in CFD (Ideally using FORTRAN, MATLAB, ANSYS (Fluent) or NASTRAN)

  • Ability to work on short deadlines

 

Optional Skills

  • Master’s/PhD in a relevant field of engineering such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics etc.

  • Ability to work with animation design tools such as Cinema4D, 3DSMAX, MAYA or BLENDER (ideal).
